LET-BY, STABILISATION AND TIGHTNESS TEST HELPER
Helper for let-by, temperature stabilisation, tightness test sequence and IGEM/UP/1B permissible pressure drop guidance.

A) Installation Volume

Checking saved installation volume…

B) Equipment Used

Select the equipment used. This sets the let-by fail threshold.

C) Let-by Check

Raise the pressure between 7 and 10 mbar for natural gas and LPG. Time for 1 minute.

Leave blank for guidance only. Enter readings to calculate pressure rise and support the let-by assessment.

D) Temperature Stabilisation

Natural gas: raise pressure between 20 and 21 mbar. LPG: raise pressure between 36 and 37 mbar.

Natural gas stabilisation: 1 minute. LPG stabilisation: 1 to 5 minutes.

E) Tightness Test

Continue for a further 2 minutes at the correct test pressure.

Enter the tightness test start and end readings to calculate the pressure drop and support assessment against current IGEM guidance.

F) Stopwatch

Use this to time the let-by, stabilisation or tightness test stage. You can still use your own stopwatch separately if preferred.
