Water Regulations
Build the theoretical knowledge required to comply with the Water Supply Regulations 1999.
- Best suited to
- Gas engineers and plumbers installing water fittings and associated systems.
- Good to know
- A prerequisite for Heat Pump courses.

Unvented Hot Water (G3)
Installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of unvented hot water systems under current legislation.
- Best suited to
- Plumbing and heating engineers working with hot water, solar thermal or heat-pump systems.
- Good to know
- Entry requirements apply. Candidates must have experience installing cold and hot water systems and hold recognised competence in gas, oil, solid fuel or plumbing.

- Approved Document G and relevant regulations, standards and guidance
- Hot-water expansion and storage principles
- System design and installation considerations
- Components, safety controls and discharge arrangements
- Commissioning, maintenance and servicing
- Health and safety considerations
After completing the course, eligible engineers may be able to join a Competent Person Scheme.

LPG Changeover
Change over from natural gas to LPG for permanent dwellings and residential park homes.
- Best suited to
- Existing engineers whose current natural-gas certificates support the LPG scope they want to add.
- Good to know
- Candidates must hold an eligible current natural-gas core and any underpinning appliance categories required for their intended LPG scope. We will check your certificates before confirming the route.

Air Source Heat Pumps
A flexible route covering the qualifications needed to install and commission air source heat pump systems.
- Best suited to
- Heating engineers moving into low-carbon heating and air source heat pump work.
- Good to know
- Packages are based on the valid qualifications you already hold, including Water Regulations and Unvented Hot Water G3.
