TPI analyser prize draw: rules and privacy

Entries are closed. The draw took place on 1 October 2026. The winner has been contacted and their details passed to TPI, which is arranging the prize directly. Original rules are retained below for reference.

The prize

One winner receives a TPI DC711-View kit, valued by TPI at £695 + VAT, or equivalent credit towards TPI products or services, including calibration. TPI supplies the prize. No purchase or payment is required to enter or claim.

One online entry overall

Enter through one of the original giveaway posts linked below. On Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, follow TomKat, like the original video and leave an entry comment, as advertised. On YouTube, leave an entry comment saying you would like the analyser or equivalent TPI credit. Liking and subscribing are optional; the spoken request to do those things is not a requirement.

Online entries close at 11:59pm on 30 September 2026, UK time (BST). One online entry per person overall across these platforms. Repeated comments or entries on several platforms do not add online chances. Sharing or tagging friends is not required. If an interaction cannot be verified publicly, we may ask privately for reasonable evidence; please contact us if you need help.

Five extra chances at the party

Attend the free End of Tour Meet & Greet at Werneth Low Golf Club on Thursday 1 October 2026 and check in with the TomKat team to record your five attendance chances. The event runs from 10am to 3pm, but draw check-in closes at 2pm. An interest registration or ticket reservation alone does not count as attendance.

You can receive the five attendance chances without entering online. One online entry plus five attendance chances gives a maximum of six chances per person. Attendance is recorded once. Tell us your online handle if you entered online so we can match your entries correctly. You may leave after checking in: you do not need to be present at the draw to win.

Selection and receiving the prize

The draw takes place at 2.30pm on 1 October 2026, UK time (BST). We will combine and check the valid online and attendance entries, then select one winning chance at random using a verifiably random process with an independent observer. Each recorded chance has equal probability.

We will contact the winner through the account used to enter or the contact details supplied at check-in, confirm their prize choice and arrange fulfilment with TPI. We will aim to contact them by 2 October and fulfil the prize within 30 days of the draw; any unavoidable delay will be explained to the winner. We will make reasonable efforts to reach the winner before considering any further selection. We will never ask for a payment or bank-card details to claim.

No marketing subscription, filming, photograph or interview is required to receive the prize. We will provide evidence that a valid award took place. Anyone requesting winner information should email us within three months of the draw. We will normally provide the winner’s surname and county, but the winner can object or ask us to reduce the information shared. We may still need to provide evidence to the Advertising Standards Authority.

The promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. To the extent permitted by law, entrants release those platforms from liability arising from this promotion. This does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. YouTube entries must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines; entries that breach those guidelines are disqualified. We do not require you to transfer ownership of your comment or other content.

How we use your information

TomKat Gas Training Limited is the data controller. We use your name or social handle, entry evidence, attendance record and necessary contact details to administer this draw, prevent duplicate entries, select and contact the winner, and arrange the prize. Online information comes from your interactions with the original giveaway posts; check-in details come from you and our attendance record. We rely on our legitimate interests in running the draw fairly and fulfilling the advertised prize.

Entry records are for authorised organisers and are not a public mailing list. We share only the winner’s information needed by TPI to provide the prize, explaining this to the winner. We request a delivery address only if needed for fulfilment. Entering does not subscribe you to marketing, and sponsors do not receive the full entrant list.

We retain identifiable draw records only for as long as needed to administer the draw, deliver the prize and resolve related questions or complaints, then delete or anonymise them. A limited record may be kept longer where needed for an unresolved matter or a legal obligation. Public social-media comments remain subject to the relevant platform’s own controls and privacy policy.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, or object to processing based on legitimate interests by emailing info@tom-kat.co.uk. Rights depend on the circumstances. After entries close

We will mark the promotion closed and keep these rules available while the prize is awarded and related queries are resolved. Closure does not cancel valid entries.
