Frequently asked questions
Regarding the ACS Initial Assessment
“I let my ACS expire…What now?”
There will also be times when a previously qualified gas engineer might need to take the initial assessment. An example of this would be if their ACS certificate has been expired longer than 12 months. If you are unsure, please do contact us for more information
“I need more than 1 day refresher training”
We offer an additional 1 day of refresher training on a 1 to 1 basis. You will spend the day with the trainer, covering the areas within the syllabus that you require
“I’ve lost my ACS certificate but i’m sure it’s still in date”
If you completed your previous ACS assessment with us then we will be able to obtain a replacement certificate for you where we can then see if you are still within time to complete the reassessment. If you have gone over time you will need to take the initial assessment. If your previous ACS was completed at another centre, you will need to contact them to arrange a replacement
